Melrose
Joan Belenski age 92 of the Melrose section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Sunday September 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born in South Amboy she had resided in Melrose all of her life. Joan was a member of the South Amboy Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy.

She is predeceased by her husband Charles A. Belenski in 2010 and her siblings Andrew, Frank, Bernard and John Cross and Theresa Toro. Surviving are her sons Julius Belenski of Melrose and Charles A. Belenski Jr. of Monroe Township.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm.
