Sayreville
Peter A. Tuckey age 74 of Sayreville passed away Wednesday September 3rd 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Bronx, New York he had resided in Bayside Queens before moving to Sayreville 19 years ago. Before his retirement 17 years ago he was employed as an inspector for Con-Edison in New York City where he worked for 37 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of Sayreville American Legion Post 211, Sayreville Knights of Columbus Council 2061 and a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years Lois Towlen Tuckey, his brothers and sisters in law Joan Heyes of Asbury Park, Louis & Leona Towlen of Monroe and Jack & Eileen Towlen of Sayreville and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The following groups will hold services Friday at the funeral home; American Legion Post 211, 7:30pm, Sayreville K of C 2061 8pm.
