Parlin
Josephine H. Day age 97 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Tuesday October 28, 2014 at Briarwood Care Center, Sayreville. Born in Passaic she had resided in Parlin for the past 60 years. Mrs. Day is a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy and was a member of the Sayreville Senior Citizens Club.

She is predeceased by her husband Richard Day in 1992, her parents Frank & Helen Hudak and her siblings Henry Hudak and Jean Foresta. Surviving are her children Richard Day and his wife Annette of Roselle IL, Frank Day of Wall and James Day of Parlin, her grandchildren Robert, Mary Jo, Thomas and Brian, her great grandchildren Angela and Ryan and her sister in law Mayo Hudak of South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 3, 2014 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin followed by a 9am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Josephine’s name be made to Easter Seals of Dupage and Fox Valley, 830 South Addison Ave. Villa Park, IL 60181
