South River
Evangelos T. Koukourdelis age 82, of South River passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015, at Saint Peters Hospital, New Brunswick, with his loving and devoted family at his side. Born in Pentalofos, Greece he immigrated to the United States settling in South River in 1969. Mr. Koukourdelis was a member of Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years Sofia Koukourdelis, his sons and their wives Christos & Jennifer, Telemahos & Maria and Georgios & Raquel all of South River, his grandchildren Sophia, Evangelos and Sofia his eight siblings Konstantino, Dimitrios, Antonios Koukourdelis, Vasiliki Kappas, Katerina Kokinos, Sofia Valsamis, Panagiota Skouteri and Garifalia Kitemes and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 10am service at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway with burial to follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
