Rose Appell, age87 of Sayreville passed away Wednesday April 15, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born and raised in Sayreville she was a life long borough resident. Mrs. Appell was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville.

She is predeceased by her husband Albert E. Appell, her son Alan Appell, her daughter Cindy Rose Delmotte and her siblings Genevieve Ryniec, Dorothy Methner, Helen Bala and John Krakowski. Surviving are her children and their spouses Sharon Appell & Charles Marzano of Sayreville, Susie & Glenn Unkel of Glen Gardner, Amy & Alan Martin of East Windsor, Brian & Sabrina Appell of Tinton Falls, Barry Appell and Patricia Sauer of Plainsboro, her daughter in law Margaret Piscitelli, her son in law Arthur Delmotte, her grandchildren Abigail, Lindsay, Jacob, James, Jessica, Sean, Matthew, Ryan, Marissa, Tommy, Samantha, Ali, Dana and Lisa and her great granddaughter Shailei.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am Mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Rose’s memory can be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
