Adele Halasz age 85 of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Thursday April 16th 2015 at Madison Center, Old Bridge with her loving and devoted son at her side. Born in Sayreville she was a lifelong borough resident. Before her retirement she was employed by Wonder Bread Bakery in East Brunswick as a packager for 15 years, was a member of the Bakery and Confectionary Union and a lifelong communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville.

She is predeceased by her husband John Halasz in 1959, her parents Jacob and Margaret Kielian, and her brother Stanley Kielian. Surviving are her son John Halasz of Sayreville, and her brother Leon Kielian.

Funeral services will be held Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am Mass at St Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Adele’s name be made to the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
