Obituary for John H Beers
Sayreville
John H. Beers, age 59, of Sayreville, passed away Saturday, May 16th 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Staten Island, New York he has resided in Sayreville most of his life. Before his retirement John was employed as a taxi driver for Kelly Cab in South River.
He is predeceased by his parents Ferris and Doris Beers, his brother George Beers and his companion Donna Scanlan. Surviving are his brother Thomas E. Beers and his wife Toni of Forked River, his nieces and nephews Jennie, Amanda, Thomas Jr. and Erick Beers, his great grand nieces and grand nephews Reygen, Dylan, Kayden, Jacob and Logan and his best friend and companion, his dog Eli.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8pm with a memorial service at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street, Sayreville with private cremation to follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in John’s name be made to the American Diabetes Association.
