Sayreville
Thomas Dovidauskas, age 60 of Sayreville, passed away Wednesday June 10, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Elizabeth, raised in Linden, he had resided in Sayreville for the past 20 years. Tom was a pipefitter at Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery in Linden and was a member of the Teamsters Union 877. He was a member of the Sayreville Volunteer Fire Company Engine Co. 1 and the Knights of Columbus Council 2061.
He is predeceased by his father Alfonsas, his step-father Juozas Masteika, and his sister and brother in law Virginia and Joseph Lasko.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Eileen (nee) Milos, his daughters Sarah and her fiancé Troy Mellios of Sayreville, Kathryn of Sayreville, his mother Antose Dovidauskas Masteika, his brother John and his wife Darrie of Lebanon Twp, his sister Christine and her husband Bill Eastman of VT and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday 11am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
The Sayreville Fire Department will hold services Sunday 7:15pm and the Knights of Columbus Council 2061 will hold services at 7:30pm on Sunday.
