Perth Amboy
Steve Fedor, age 86, of Perth Amboy passed away Sunday June 14, 2015 at Summer Hill Care & Rehab Center, Old Bridge. Born in Perth Amboy he had resided in Sayreville, Carteret and Perth Amboy for most of his life. Before his retirement he was employed for over 30 years at National Lead Industries in Sayreville as a chemical operator. Mr. Fedor proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. Steve was loved by everyone for his warm heart, good spirits and kindness. He frequently enjoyed local park concerts, loved music. Even at the age of 83 he taught country line dancing at the Carteret Seniors. He will surely be missed by many
He is predeceased by his parents Peter & Elizabeth Fedor, and his siblings Peter Fedor, Mary Backowski, Helen Kerchner and Eleanor Kwasnofski. Surviving are his son Steven and his wife Lisa Fedor, his daughter Carolyn Fedor of Port St Lucie Florida and his grandchildren Julia and Emily Fedor.
Funeral services will be held Friday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Letters of condolence, directions and completed arrangements can be found at spezzifuneralhome.com
