David Lake, age 74, passed away Tuesday July 7, 2015 at his home in South River, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ft. Wayne Indiana, he has resided in South River for over 40 years. Before his retirement, David was an account manager for Chase Manhattan Bank. He was a proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is predeceased by his parents Glen and Catherine Sweihart Lake.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Marie nee Zebro, son Adam and his wife Julie, and three granddaughters Gabrielle, Katherine and Sarah. His surviving siblings are Charles Michael Lake and his wife Judy and Kathryn and Gary Green.
Funeral services will be Friday, 10:30am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by an 11am funeral mass at St. Stanislaus R.C. Church with a burial to follow at St. Stan’s Cemetery in Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2pm to 6pm
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in David's name to the St Stanislaus Kostka School Endowment Fund.
