South River
Margaret Servon, age 91, of South River, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at Pine Brook Care Center, Englishtown. Born in New Brunswick she has resided in South River most of her life. Mrs. Servon was a communicant of Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River and was a former member of the Rosary Society. Margaret was a graduate of Saint Peters School of Nursing in New Brunswick where she worked as a Registered Pediatric Nurse before assisting her husband’s company, founder of Servon Sales and Service in South River.

She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward Servon Sr., in 2002 and her parents John & Augusta McCaffrey and her brothers and sisters Elizabeth McCaffrey, John McCaffrey, William McCaffrey, Dorothy Peterson and Helen Meyers. Surviving are her children and their spouses Edward Servon Jr., Thomas & Bess Servon of South River, Sharon & Edward Hughes of North Brunswick and Barbara Ann & Joseph Sieb of Wall Township, 11 grandchildren Bryan, Jessica, Vanessa, Rebecca, Jacqueline, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Bess Anne, Samantha, Thomas Jr. and Joseph Jr., her 2 great grandchildren Ben and Travis and many nieces and nephews.


Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, 9am mass at Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River with burial to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, under the direction of the Maliszewski Funeral home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River N.J.
