Frank A  Roser
Frank A. Roser, Sr. age 90 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully at home with his 3 children at his side on Wednesday, July 13th. Born in Jersey City he had resided in Sayreville for the past 61 years. Before his retirement in 1985 he was employed as an Architectural Draftsman for Atlantic Design in Newark for 30 years. He was a US Army Air Corp Veteran serving in WWII as a B-29 airplane and engine mechanic in the 19th bomb squadron, earning Army of Occupation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, and World War II Victory medals. Frank was a Lifetime Member of the Edison VFW Post 3117, The Military Order of the Cootie of the US, and the Elks. He was a communicant of Messiah Lutheran Church in Parlin where he was also a former Council President.

Frank is predeceased by his first wife Jean, his second wife Kathleen, his son Kenneth, his granddaughter Jenna, his brother Reverend William Roser and his sister Charlotte Gilmartin. Surviving are his loving companion Joyce Tobiasen, his children and their spouses Janet Jurusz of Parlin, Frank Jr. and Loree of Sayreville, Wayne and Maryann of Howell, his brother Ronald and his wife Beverly of Keansburg, Grandchildren Richard, Neal, Alyssa, Adam, Arlee, Aubree, Matt, and Jessica, Great-grandchildren Lily, Hailey, Kylie and Landon, his sister-in-law Roberta of Wisconsin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9am service at Messiah Lutheran Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Frank’s name to Messiah Lutheran Church, 3091 Bordentown Ave., Parlin NJ 08859.
