Joseph DeTullio, age 71, of Sayreville passed away Thursday July 2, 2015. Born and raised in Hoboken he has resided in Sayreville for the past 28 years. Before his retirement he was employed as a Truck Driver for TNT Red Star Express where he worked for 30+ years. Joseph served as past president of Frog Hollow Swim and Tennis Club. He was also a proud member of Teamsters 560 as well as the Bypass Committee of Sayreville.

Predeceased are his mother and father, Marino and Elizabeth DeTullio. Also predeceased are his caring mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorraine and Nicola Manzo . Surviving are his wife of 47 years Theadora "Dee", their son Joseph Jr., his sisters, Ester Deluca, Delores Frisco, Elizabeth Fararicco, and Marianne Durso. Also surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph & Jane Colasurdo with his dearest niece, Jillian.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin followed by a 11am Mass at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church with a burial at New Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's name can be made to the American Heart Foundation and to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital's Cardiac Care Unit.
